Moving to Google Site

Hi All

I'm moving to a google site. All info will be available there, and will be updated. I'm no longer in charge of math contests, but I'll have an enrichment calendar at the new site.

Math Contests are now run by Ms. Podio, and the Science contests will be done by the subject teachers (biology, physics and chemistry).

My new website is here:

It includes info about Secondary Gifted, AP courses, and my science class!

AP Exams 2017

AP Exam Information

If you are interested in writing one or more Advanced Placement Exams in May 2017, the AP Bulletin for Students and Parents was distributed to AP classes this morning. Copies are also available in guidance for students who are self-studying for an exam, and they will also be distributed in second semester AP classes like English Lit and Computer Science.

It's also available online:

The Bulletin includes everything you need to know about writing AP exams, including the schedule and rules and procedures for exam preparation and exam day.

Orders can be made through cashless schools ( The cost is $130 CDN per exam. This is the same cost as last year, and is a result of the poor exchange rate with the US Dollar. The exam is not mandatory. Taking an AP course is free. The exam is the only additional cost.

The due date for ordering AP Exams is March 1, 2017.

Please email me with any questions.
